i purchased it approximately 11/2 yrs ago, i tried looking within device manager underneath the USB listing but nought really told me if it was 2.0..

Answer:

if u see an enhanced controller .. ur adjectives good ..
It does. That is pretty much adjectives they put out.
yes it has usb 2.0. usb 2.0 have been out for a tremendously long time
Plug in a USB 2.0 device, approaching an iPod. A notice will come up if it's not USB 2.0. If zilch comes up after 10 minutes, it should be alright.
One and a half years ago, it probably is 2.0. Easiest bearing to tell is to plug contained by a usb 2.0 device like a thumb drive. If it of late works, then you enjoy 2.0. If it says this device can make faster then you own 1.1

Check using back usb ports first, not front. Occasionally the front are not as reliable as the rear legs, and on some computers the front may be 1.1 while the back are 2.0
