Just reformatted my laptop but disappointingly did not backed up any drivers. Just installed win xp home edition for my laptop but get no sound card driver can anyone minister to me on how to find a sound card driver or where on earth to locate the model of a hitachi laptop, pls put refrence site on your answers. THANKS!

look go to your computers brand website contained by this case hitachi...step to customer service and and search for your model
the model of your laptop shoul say aloud on the battery...,below the peak..
then download the drivers for your nouns card...
install them,,,
and it will be like illusion.
Call customer service...
