this laptop is a pentium 3 and ive kept it plugged within for WEEKS. the battery desk light keeps flashing ginger, which means it isnt charged. i keep hold of charging it and no difference..I NEED HELP?? ive gone to many stores to grasp the battery replaced but they speak its too old of a model to achieve replaced. what should i do? i sold it to a girl and shes complaining about like peas in a pod thing.

I don't muse the computer is worth the battery replacement. Save everything you have need of onto an external hard drive and carry a new notebook. We have an HP laptop which had a freestyle that burned out and the battery street light always flashed... best of luck.
I devise it may need a fresh power supply.
