For ASP unstop your file on Front page.
you can not see this characters on notepad because it is hid for guarantee reason.

They are both Web server language you should not have them if you are not the programmers surrounded by charge. They are text files only just like HTML, Web servers should process them and convey them as HTML to your browser.
If you were offered to download them it is a bug by the cog of Internet Explorer (or whatever browser) fix it simply by trying the intertwine again.
YOU don't have to download any specific software for this I am sure your laptop may be have wordpad or notepad, you can use the same to unseal the jsp and asp files. OK
