Yes. I bought a 3 year frail Dell Latitude c640, 2ghz processor, 512mb ram, 32gb hd, dvd read simply for $340 including shipping. I'm very contented with the laptop but did hold to replace the battery after more or less six months-$35 from ebay and added a floppy drive-$14 from ebay. The biggest mistake I made was to upgrade to Vista-$150 from Best Buy and the laptop come loaded with XP Pro, including the coa but minus an xp disk so I can't get rid of Vista and reinstall xp which I would love to do. Still, overall, I'm relatively happy beside ebay. I've done a fair amount of buying (and selling) near and have not on the other hand run into a scam or bad promise.

If it seem to good a concord to be true, it usually is. Be very severely careful when buying any electronics from ebay. A lot of scam and crap out there.

Go to bestbuy.com for two reasons the price is equal or better to those surrounded by ebay and at least you very soon who to claim if anything happens.
