i a moment ago got a latest gateway laptop. i was sort of contained by small amount to spend so i went to best buy and get a gateway for 450. its great since its small and very nice looking what drives me crazy is that it lone has 512 MB near a hard drive of 80G. this cause for the laptop to take at most minuscule 5 mts to upload and start up, this is bothering me alot so during the weekend i want to take it to wearegolden.com and i would similar to to know your suggestions on how to get this laptop to be at most minuscule normal efficient. if you can point out the products in that website i would cheerfully appreciate it. im running windows vista home edition. gratefulness!

get yourself some more hit,with vista you want at most minuscule 1gig that alone will make your laptop run faster
Go to Start, Run, msconfig, StartUp Tab, and Uncheck any apps or programs that are surplus to requirements to start up. I only maintain the Firewall and Antivirus starting with window. All other's DO NOT need to be contained by the startup list.. Good Luck
