hi can anybody backing me with my graphics card problem. ive read that its possible to move some of the run into into the graphics but i don't know how. anybody help?
Answer:
Depends. Sometimes an integrated graphics card that uses shared memory will consent to you appoint a greater amount of memory to it.
These settings are normally found contained by the BIOS.
When starting up (during the memory check) you have to press DEL or one of the function key to get surrounded by the BIOS. There you will usually find something along the lines of 'allocated graphics memory' or 'reserved graphics memory'. Change it and exit the BIOS while saving the settings. That should achieve you going.
If it's a dedicated graphics card, consequently you're at a loss. You're stuck with what you own.
Good luck.
no u cannot move some of ur ram into graphics.
CANT DO IT IT TAKES IT ITSELF,IF NEEDED.LIKE A TURBO CACHE VIDEO CARD
As its said don't believe everything you read! No to your press.
Should you believe this?
Each notebook is set up differently, so it may be best to consult the manufacturer's web site for your model.
Some model notebook don't even allow this, others will require you change the settings from the BIOS screen(s).
For mine, I dance into the control panel to access the display settings as well as the settings for the ATI video card. From at hand it is as simple as moving a slider for the amount of system RAM to be use.
this is called shared memory - it is done within bios
this question is contained by the laptops section - why would you want to do this on a laptop?
