When I close the lid on my dell inspiron 1501laptop for a indubitable amount of time it always go into sleep mode. Thats fine but how do I get it out of that. I've be pressing button and such but the only entity that works is restarting it by pressing the power button and thats not really good for the computer So what am I supposed to do??
Answer:
It depends on your operating system. With Windows XP, hitting the power button again after sleep mode will bring up the log surrounded by screen, and prompts you to choose a user. (If you are the singular user on the laptop, then near will only be one square avatar box) Your computer is not harmed by this and in that is no rebooting involved.
If you hate the integral sleep mode, then metamorphose it in your power admin ---> power options, click power job tab, and disable System Standby under mobile or plugged in power. Now your computer will sleep or hibernate with the sole purpose when you tell it too! There will be no timer set.
As far as I know, explicitly the only method to turn it backby.
something is wrong... get it checked but in a minute only opening is to restart
