Get files bad of deceased computer?

My laptop have stopped working. It just shut stale and now i cant obtain it to turn back on.

Is here any way for me to carry some important files, such as my music, past its sell-by date of the harddrive so can back them up? I own a feeling im going to want a new laptop.

Answer:

You can remove the easier said than done drive from your laptop and hook it up as a slave on a desktop computer with an adapter. Go to http://www.CablesToGo.com or do a google check out for laptop hard drive to desktop knotty drive adapter and check out other sites to buy the adapter. I have see these adapters for about $10.00.
look for a USB to HD convertor made for laptop knotty drives.

I agree with the other character who answered, but I got mine at newegg.com for below $20.

Once you get this adapter you should be capable of hook the hard drive up to another PC and take your data past its sell-by date of it as long as the drive still functions.
Go to www.newegg.com

buy an external 2.5 USB hard drive birdcage and now you hold a portable hard drive. I bought my storage area for $7.95.

Came in concrete handy when I upgraded the hard drive within the laptop. All the files were right in that.
Get an external USB case for laptop drives. ~
