Im looking for a gaming laptop below 1000 dollars that xan play games like world of warcraft, battlefield 2142, ETC. smoothly and minus any lag.

First bad you will always draw from some lag here or within no matter what computer u hold. It makes it evern harder to find a gaming laptop at a fair price. For what your looking for I would say 1000 is too low of a budget. If you're prepared to spend 200 more you can get a pretty wearing clothes laptop from http://cyberpowerpc.com that will play those games and games to come, at lower settings. The xplorer x5-5850 as is for 1175 is the best deal for the price that i could find for a notebook inwardly the past couple weeks.
Dell usually have sales on their website. Check http://www.dell.com/ . Also, consider an Alienware laptop at http://www.alienware.com/
